E, tra il cemento brutale delle architetture industriali e l’oro glamour della Haunted House, resta ancora spazio per l’identità retrò dai toni confetto di Bar Luce, firmato dal genio eclettico di Wes Anderson che, con la sua estetica riconoscibilissima, ha dichiarato omaggio all’iconografia cinematografica del neorealismo italiano [e, in un impeto garbatamente onanista, a sé stesso, con un flipper dedicato a Steve Zissou]. Two conditions that are usually kept separate here confront each other in a state of permanent interaction - offering an ensemble of fragments that will not congeal into a single image, or allow any part to dominate the others. New, old, horizontal, vertical, wide, narrow, white, black, open, enclosed - all these contrasts establish the range of oppositions that define the new Fondazione.
