18 19 Yoji Tokuyoshi was born in Tottori, a little Japanese town. At the age of 18 he moved to Tokyo to attend a cooking school and, after several working experiences in numerous Italian restaurants, he decides to leave for Italy. A life-changing journey, which led him almost from the beginning to meet Massimo Bottura and become for over 9 years his sous-chef at Osteria Francescana. 2014 was an important year for chef Tokuyoshi, that he spent travelling around the world, studying, thinking about his future. In February 2015 he chooses to open up his own restaurant in Milan, Italian city with the largest number of international residents, nerve center of business, fashion and innovation, hub of a heterogeneous clientele.
