Ossigeno

The volume number five of Ossigeno | Elements of Life represents the consolidation stage of a desire become project and, finally, opus. A publishing series born to transpose into literature values belonging to our community: healthy nutrition, personal care, balance of spirit, art, culture and respect, science, movement and sustainability. In this issue, the Swedish chef August Lill will lead the reader from one column to another. His exclusive twelve recipes, all dedicated to this opus, are born - as he himself underlines - from his way of working in an extemporaneous way, always planning from creative ideas. The column O for Ólos boasts in this edition a special interview, both for its subject and its content. The Nobel Prize for physiology/medicine Jeffrey Connor Hall, American geneticist and chronobiologist, speaks about circadian rhythm [ and the art of motorcycling ]. The adjective 'special' is due to the exceptional availability of the Professor, as well as to the unexpected inspiration of his conclusions and metaphors. The third protagonist of the book is the tattoo artist Pietro Sedda with his literary and televisual Palimpsest . That is how our editor in chief perceives his art. The in-depth journeys present in this issue of Ossigeno are three: one leads to Portugal, the other is represented by kecap , a preparation whose origin is nowadays considerably far from reality. The third itinerary is conducted to celebrate the first century of activity of one of the most ancient gyms in Italy, Faenza Lotta. Here, journey lies in the attitude’s characteristics that discipline itself shapes. Mario Zani
